A woman from Uttar Pradesh ran away with her daughter’s fiancé just one week before the couple was scheduled to marry, shocking the entire family and disrupting the wedding plans. The Uttar Pradesh Police stated that they had arrested a woman accused of eloping with her daughter’s fiancé. However, the couple asserted that they had voluntarily surrendered at the police station.
According to a report by Live Hindustan, Apna Devi, a woman from Aligarh, openly confessed that she had developed romantic feelings for her daughter’s fiancé. Despite this, she firmly denied taking any valuables, such as cash or jewelry, when she left her home.

Wife Elopes with ₹8 Lakh in Cash, Jewellery Meant for April 16 Wedding
According to a PTI report, the woman ran away with her daughter’s fiancé merely a week before the scheduled wedding. Jitendra Kumar, the bride-to-be’s father, claimed that his wife fled with the groom-to-be, taking ₹3 lakh in cash and jewelry worth over ₹5 lakh — all of which they had set aside for the wedding planned for April 16.
