Who Was Telangana Techie Mohammed Nizamuddin
Mohammed Nizamuddin, 30, hailed from Telangana’s Mahabubnagar district and moved from Telangana to the US in 2016.
He pursued a Master’s degree in Computer Science from a Florida college before joining a software firm.
After earning a promotion, he relocated to Santa Clara, California, for better work opportunities.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he worked for Google through IT consulting firm EPAM Systems.
Nizamuddin admitted online that he was later terminated and faced workplace harassment and wage issues.

Telangana Family’s Reaction
Nizamuddin’s father said the fight with his roommate started over a minor air-conditioner issue.
He said a neighbor called the police, which eventually led to the tragic shooting.
The grieving father has requested External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to repatriate his son’s body.
Family members insist they are still unaware of the exact reasons for the police shooting.
LinkedIn Post and Allegations
Before his death, Nizamuddin wrote a detailed LinkedIn post alleging severe racial discrimination.
He claimed to be a victim of harassment, wrongful termination, wage fraud, and racial hatred.
He accused corporate management of oppression and demanded severe punishment for everyone involved.
Nizamuddin alleged his employer paid him unfair wages, violating Department of Labor guidelines.
He also claimed a detective and his team continued harassment after his termination.
Incident and Police Version
Santa Clara police said they received a 911 call about a stabbing on September 3.
Officers arrived, confronted Nizamuddin, and opened fire during the altercation, injuring him critically.
Police said they transported him to a local hospital, where doctors later declared him dead.
Authorities also confirmed his roommate suffered injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
Police recovered two knives from the scene and stated the officer’s action likely saved a life.
