    In a heart-wrenching incident near Nashik, a two-year-old boy was snatched by a leopard from outside his home near Vadner Gate on Tuesday night. Despite extensive search operations conducted by forest officials and Army personnel throughout the night, the child remains missing. Authorities have discovered blood spots and leopard pug marks, prompting the deployment of cages to capture the animal.

    Leopard Attack Sparks Panic in Nashik Outskirts

    In a shocking incident on Tuesday night, a leopard dragged away a two-year-old boy from the Vadner Gate area on the outskirts of Nashik city. Despite an all-night search by forest officials and Army jawans, the child remains missing. The attack occurred around 9:30 pm while the boy was playing outside his home near Vadner Gate, close to the Artillery Centre. Hearing his son’s cries, the father rushed out and witnessed the leopard carrying the child towards the Valdevi River.

    Forest Officials, Army Jawans Intensify Search for Missing Boy

    Rescue teams of forest officials rushed to Vadner Gate immediately after receiving information about the leopard attack. And launched search operations with the support of Army jawans from the Artillery Centre. “We began the search on Tuesday night as soon as we were informed, but the boy is still missing by Wednesday morning. Teams are searching in all directions from the spot where the incident happened,” a forest official said.The official added, “We spotted bloodstains and leopard pug marks near the site. To trap the animal, we have installed six cages in the area.”
