    Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said he wants to nominate Donald Trump again for the Nobel Peace Prize, crediting him with saving millions of lives in South Asia and the Middle East. Trump, despite not winning the award, claimed he resolved major global conflicts, including the one between India and Pakistan. Earlier, he said he ended seven wars, but now he raised the number to eight by adding the Israel-Gaza conflict. He also stated he didn’t act for the Nobel but for peace.

    India-Pakistan Ceasefire Dispute Over Mediation Claim

    Since May 10, Donald Trump has claimed he helped mediate a “full and immediate” ceasefire between India and Pakistan. However, India says the agreement was reached through direct talks between military officials. The ceasefire followed India’s Operation Sindoor on May 7, launched in response to the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians. The deal ended four days of intense cross-border drone and missile strikes between the two countries.
