UPSC CSE Result 2025: Final Merit List Expected to Be Announced This Week

The Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 result is expected to be released soon by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates who appeared for the interview round will be able to check their results on the official UPSC website once the commission announces the final merit list.

According to reports, UPSC may declare the CSE 2025 final result in the first or second week of March 2026. The commission recently completed the personality test round in the last week of February, and it usually takes a few days to compile the final merit list after the interview process ends.

The final merit list will include the names of candidates selected for appointment to India’s prestigious civil services.

Interview Process Conducted in New Delhi

UPSC started the interview process for qualified candidates in January 2026. The commission conducted the personality tests at Dholpur House on Shahjahan Road, New Delhi, which serves as the UPSC headquarters.

The personality test carries 275 marks, which play a crucial role in determining the final ranking of candidates in the civil services examination.
