    A woman publicly apologised after a video showed her using abusive language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a protest. The video quickly went viral on social media and prompted a police complaint. Noida Police registered a Zero FIR and later transferred the case to Parliament Street Police Station in New Delhi. In her apology video, she folded her hands, admitted her mistake, and sought forgiveness from the people of India. She expressed regret over her remarks and said she felt deeply ashamed.

    Police Continue Investigation After Zero FIR Transfer

    In the video, the woman claimed that she was influenced by others present at the protest and made inappropriate comments against the Prime Minister. She stated that she is only 15 years old, although the FIR reportedly mentions her age as 25. Describing the incident as her first and last mistake, she admitted that her words were unacceptable. She apologised to the people of India and said she felt ashamed of her behaviour.

    The complaint alleged that her remarks insulted the dignity of the Prime Minister’s constitutional office and had the potential to create social disharmony and disturb public peace. Based on the complaint, Uttar Pradesh Police registered a Zero FIR under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The case was later transferred to the Delhi Police as the alleged incident was linked to a protest held in the national capital. Authorities are continuing the legal process.

    Woman Expresses Regret After Viral Protest Video

    The apology came shortly after Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video message urging restraint and compassion in response to abusive slogans raised against him during student protests. He said that abusive language could never solve any issue and appealed to people to guide those who had gone astray instead of only punishing them. The Prime Minister also expressed concern over the use of offensive language against him and his late mother. His remarks received widespread attention on social media.

    According to the complaint filed by a Ghaziabad resident, the woman allegedly used objectionable language that undermined the dignity of the Prime Minister’s office. The complainant also claimed that the remarks were intended to spread hatred and disturb public harmony. Police have initiated an investigation into the matter and are examining all available evidence. Further action will be taken in accordance with the findings of the investigation.
