A tragic incident occurred at Lovely Public School in Delhi’s Mayur Vihar area on Wednesday. A 9-year-old Class 3 student suddenly collapsed inside her classroom. The incident created panic among teachers and students. School authorities rushed to help the girl after she fell unconscious. Doctors later declared her dead at a nearby hospital.

CCTV Footage Shows Girl Suddenly Collapsing
According to Delhi Police, they received a PCR call at around 9:52 AM about the incident. The school staff immediately rushed the girl to Malik Redix Health Care in Nirman Vihar. However, doctors declared her brought dead. The police have started investigating the circumstances surrounding her sudden death. They are also waiting for the post-mortem report to establish the exact cause.
CCTV footage from the classroom captures the moments before the tragedy. The video shows the girl standing alone inside the classroom. She appears to place her hand on her waist before suddenly falling to the floor. The teacher immediately rushes towards her after noticing the incident. She lifts the child and tries to make her sit on a chair.

Police Begin Investigation, Post-Mortem Report Awaited
The footage further shows the teacher rushing out of the classroom. She returns within a few seconds and carries the unconscious girl outside. Another CCTV recording reportedly shows the student climbing the school stairs with other children. Additional footage captures her inside another area of the school premises. Police are examining these recordings to understand the sequence of events.
Delhi Police have launched a detailed investigation into the student’s death. Officers are recording statements from the girl’s parents and school authorities. They are also examining CCTV footage and collecting other relevant evidence. Preliminary information suggests a possible medical condition, but officials have not confirmed the cause. The post-mortem report will help establish the exact reason behind the sudden collapse.
