Gunfire Outside Tiger Shroff’s Car in Juhu

The shooting occurred on Sunday evening in Mumbai’s Juhu area as Tiger Shroff was leaving after playing a football match. The actor escaped the gunfire, but his driver, Firdaus, and an autorickshaw driver identified as Chauhan reportedly suffered injuries. Reports also stated that Shroff sustained gunpowder burns on his right hand. Following the attack, the actor reportedly moved towards the driver’s seat. The incident triggered concern over the safety of Bollywood personalities amid renewed threats linked to organised crime. Mumbai Police launched an investigation and began examining CCTV footage to reconstruct the sequence of events. Investigators are also working to establish the identities of everyone involved and determine how the attackers planned their escape.

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has reportedly claimed responsibility for the shooting and issued fresh threats against people associated with Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The gang’s hostility towards Khan relates to the blackbuck poaching case dating back to the late 1990s. Members of the Bishnoi community consider the blackbuck sacred. Salman Khan faced conviction in the case before the Rajasthan High Court acquitted him. Investigators are examining the reported gang claim and its possible connection to the attack on Shroff’s vehicle. However, authorities must establish the authenticity of the claim and verify the suspects’ alleged links through evidence. The incident has renewed concerns about threats against celebrities and the potential involvement of criminal networks in attacks targeting the film industry.

CCTV Footage and Motorcycle Under Investigation

Investigators have seized a motorcycle that the alleged attackers reportedly abandoned near Andheri railway station after the shooting. Police are examining the vehicle’s registration details, number plate, chassis number and engine number to establish its ownership and history. CCTV footage reportedly shows one suspect firing several shots, while another appears to attempt to fire a weapon. Investigators have not publicly established whether the second weapon discharged. A third individual allegedly waited on the motorcycle to help the others escape. Police are using these details to reconstruct the attack and establish each suspect’s role. Authorities are also pursuing other people reportedly detained in connection with the case, including an individual from the Maharashtra–Gujarat border area.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis condemned the attack and described the alleged perpetrators as cowardly individuals. He said authorities would thwart their attempts to create fear through violence. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also visited Tiger Shroff at his residence after the incident. Shinde described the shooting as serious and promised strict action against those responsible. He warned that no gang or individual would be allowed to revive gang warfare in Mumbai. Meanwhile, police continue to investigate the shooting, track the suspects’ movements and examine possible links with organised criminal groups. The arrests in Kota represent an important development in the investigation, but authorities must establish the full circumstances and individual responsibility through further inquiries and legal proceedings.
