    RCB WPL Final

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) pulled off a sensational record-breaking chase to claim their second Women’s Premier League title, handing Delhi Capitals their fourth consecutive final defeat.

Chasing 204, RCB secured victory with just two balls to spare, thanks to an explosive partnership between captain Smriti Mandhana, who scored 87 off 41 balls, and Australia’s Georgia Voll, who made 79 off 54. The duo forged a record 165-run stand off 92 balls after Grace Harris fell early in the second over for nine.

Smriti Mandhana dominated the innings and finished as the tournament’s top scorer with 377 runs, while Voll battled until RCB needed 30 more runs. Richa Ghosh followed soon after, and Mandhana fell in the penultimate over, bowled by Chinelle Henry.

“I’m extremely pleased. Three titles as a franchise in the past three years [two women’s, one men’s] is amazing,” said Mandhana. “We knew 200-plus was a strong score, but we fought back in the last four overs. Special credit to Lauren Bell—her four-over spell conceding just 19 runs was match-defining.”
