He stated that protecting institutional integrity is crucial to prevent authoritarian misuse of government power. Gandhi argued that opposition resistance is essential to safeguard democracy and uphold constitutional principles effectively.

BJP Responds Criticizing Gandhi, Democracy and Institutional Integrity Under Debate
BJP leaders criticised Rahul Gandhi, calling him anti-national and accusing him of spreading misinformation abroad. Pradeep Bhandari alleged Gandhi, along with foreign ideological interests, aims to create chaos in India. Shobha Karandlaje claimed Gandhi travels internationally to speak against India, undermining its democratic progress. The BJP said Gandhi’s statements attempt to weaken public confidence and democratic stability in India.
