    The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has announced new online internship opportunities in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector. The one-month programs aim to give students practical industry exposure and strengthen job-ready skills. Candidates who have passed Class 12 can apply for these free internships, while several programs also accept Class 10 pass, graduate and postgraduate applicants.

    Income Tax Specialist Internship Program

    MSDE introduced this program to help learners gain real-world tax filing experience and understand compliance and audit procedures. Participants will study income tax regulations and explore federal, state and local tax laws along with the latest code updates. The internship runs for one month.

    Through this program, candidates will learn GST laws, returns filing and documentation processes. The ministry designed the internship to improve practical taxation knowledge and boost career prospects in accounting and finance. The duration is one month.

    Financial Reporting Internship

    This internship focuses on financial statement preparation. Learners will practice creating balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements while understanding GAAP, IFRS and other reporting standards used in the industry.

    Participants will explore technical analysis tools, evaluate market trends and develop trading strategies. The program also trains candidates in risk management techniques and market performance analysis.

    Advanced Financial Modelling and Valuation Internship

    MSDE will also conduct a one-month program on financial modelling and valuation. Learners will work on Excel-based data analysis, real-world case studies, capital market concepts, M&A fundamentals and investment decision frameworks.

    The ministry launched these internships to help students build practical skills in the BFSI sector and improve employability through industry-focused training.
