    Argument Over Cooking Turns Violent

According to the police, Yamini’s husband, 41-year-old Krishna Lal Yadav, returned home from work and asked her to prepare food for him and their children. Yamini was getting ready to attend a dance class in their housing society and declined to cook. This led to an argument between the couple, which allegedly turned violent. Police said Krishna Lal assaulted Yamini on her neck and abdomen. He was reportedly drunk when the incident occurred.

After the alleged assault, Yamini complained of severe pain in her neck and abdomen. She reportedly asked her husband to get medicine to relieve the pain. Krishna Lal went to a nearby medical store, but it was closed, so he returned without the medicine. Yamini’s condition later worsened, and her abdomen reportedly started swelling. Her family eventually took her to a hospital for treatment. Doctors could not save her, and she died from her injuries.

    Post-Mortem Reveals Serious Injuries

Police initially treated the case as an accidental death and sent Yamini’s body for a post-mortem examination. However, the examination reportedly revealed several serious injuries that raised suspicion. Doctors found a fractured neck bone and severe damage to her intestines. The report also reportedly indicated signs of strangulation and injuries to her abdomen. Following these findings, police changed the course of the investigation. They subsequently registered a murder case against Krishna Lal.

Yamini’s brother said the family initially received news of her death as a tragic incident. He later learned about the serious injuries mentioned in the post-mortem report and approached the matter with suspicion. He said Yamini had previously told the family about arguments with her husband. However, she had repeatedly asked them not to interfere in their marital disputes. Police have now arrested Krishna Lal Yadav under the murder charge. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding Yamini’s death.
