Delhi Bomber’s Video Defends Suicide Bombing

A week after a blast near Delhi’s Red Fort killed 13 people, a self-recorded video of bomber Dr Umar Mohammad alias Umar-un-Nabi has surfaced. The undated clip reveals his views on suicide bombing and what he calls “martyrdom.”In the video, he says, “One of the most misunderstood concepts is what people label as suicide bombing. It is a martyrdom operation known in Islam.” He argues that critics raise multiple contradictions but fail to understand the idea behind such acts. Umar further explains that a “martyrdom operation” involves a person assuming they will die at a specific place and time. He adds that no one can predict their death, claiming it happens only when destined. He ends with a message urging people not to fear death.

Blast Probe Exposes ‘White-Collar’ Terror Network

The Delhi blast conspiracy reveals that terror groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed are now recruiting highly educated professionals, including doctors. Earlier this month, shortly after a major explosives recovery in Faridabad, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said they had busted an inter-state and transnational terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. Investigators found a white-collar terror ecosystem involving radicalised professionals and students working with foreign handlers in Pakistan and other countries. The group used encrypted channels for indoctrination, coordination, fund movement, and logistics. Police also found that funds were raised through professional and academic networks under the guise of social and charitable causes.
