    HIT The Third Case box office collection day 1: Nani gives the HIT franchise its best start, film earns ₹18 crore

    HIT: The Third Case, directed by Sailesh Kolanu and starring Nani, Srinidhi Shetty, and Prateik, opened in theatres with high anticipation as the third installment of the popular HIT franchise. On its first day, the film received mixed to positive reviews, particularly for Nani’s intense performance and the film’s gripping action sequences. Although the industry has not yet confirmed the official Day 1 box office figures, early reports indicate that Nani’s fanbase and the franchise’s growing popularity drove a decent opening.

    HIT 3 Day 1 Box Office: Nani-Starrer Opens Strong with ₹18 Crore Collection in India

    Sailesh Kolanu released the third installment of his HIT (Homicide Intervention Team) series, HIT: The Third Case, in theatres on May 1. According to Sacnilk, the film starring Nani, Srinidhi Shetty and Prateik Smita Patil has collected ₹18 crore net in India on its opening day.

    The trade website reports that HIT 3 collected Rs18.18 crore net in India on its opening day. The film had a strong 87.82% occupancy, with the afternoon shows registering 92.37%. This is the biggest opening for any film in the HIT series, none of which had earned even half of this so far.

    This is also one of Nani’s biggest openings, coming close to Dasara (2023), which collected ₹23.2 crore on opening day. The film beat the openings of Ante Sundaraniki (2022), Hi Nanna (2023) and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram (2024), which had collected ₹6.25 crore, ₹4.9 crore and ₹9 crore respectively on their opening days.
