Google has filed a lawsuit in a federal court in New York against the creators of a phishing toolkit called Outsider. The company alleges that the software helps cybercriminals create fake websites and launch phishing attacks using artificial intelligence.
According to the complaint, the Outsider phishing kit can imitate hundreds of trusted websites. Google claims the software provides detailed instructions that help users create convincing phishing pages designed to steal sensitive personal and financial data.
