Key Milestone Achieved as 55-km Ghat Section Gets Electrified

The completion of electrification on the 55-km ghat section between Sakaleshpura and Subrahmanya Road provides a major boost to the proposed service, according to PTI. This stretch, once a crucial hurdle for modern rail travel, represented one of the route’s most challenging segments.
