Smriti Mandhana Skips Kapil Sharma Show After Wedding Cancellation

Comedian Kapil Sharma will host the Indian women’s cricket team, including stars like Harmanpreet Kaur, Richa Ghosh, Jemimah Rodrigues, and others, on his show to celebrate their historic World Cup win. However, a recent promo revealed that Smriti Mandhana will be absent from the celebration, sparking attention around her personal life after she called off her wedding with music composer Palash Muchhal. The upcoming episode will also feature Head Coach Amol Mazumdar.

In the promo, Kapil Sharma asks Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur about the bhangra moves she showed off while lifting the World Cup trophy. Jemimah Rodrigues then joins in and reveals that it was actually Smriti Mandhana who encouraged her to join the dance. She shared, “Harry didi doesn’t listen to us, but Smriti told me that if I didn’t do the bhangra, she wouldn’t talk to me for life. Smriti was determined, and that’s why I had to give in and dance with her.”

Kapil Sharma asked Shafali Verma about Pratika’s injury, and when Shafali responded with a serious, straight face, Kapil couldn’t resist cracking a joke. He said, “Why are you angry? I just asked casually.” The playful banter didn’t stop there. Kapil later switched to his matchmaker mode, teasing Renuka Singh by asking her about her “ideal boy.” The promo also featured a few surprise elements, with Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda joining in on the fun, adding their own humorous touch to the episode.
