On May 7, the Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor and targeted and destroyed nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. They conducted this operation in direct response to Pakistani firing to neutralize threats across the border.

NDTV reported, quoting an unnamed official, that the Indian Army eliminated 13 enemy posts within just three minutes during the operation. The Indian forces showcased their precision and coordination by swiftly retaliating against hostile fire.

An Indian Army colonel detailed the incident, explaining that on the night between May 6 and 7, enemy forces fired two mortar shells at their position. Within three minutes of the attack, the Indian Army launched a pre-planned counterattack and successfully destroyed all 13 enemy bunkers in that area, highlighting the troops’ rapid and decisive response.

They added that every jawan was prepared and knew the orders given by their commander and higher headquarters, knew the weapons they had to fire and for how long they needed to be used to inflict maximum damage on the enemy.
