BCCI Lodges Complaint Against Pakistan Duo

India officially lodged a complaint with the ICC against Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan.
The BCCI accused the two Pakistan cricketers of provocative gestures during the Asia Cup Super 4 clash.
Officials confirmed the ICC received the complaint on Wednesday and may conduct a disciplinary hearing soon.
If Rauf and Farhan deny charges, they must appear before referee Richie Richardson for questioning.

    PCB Retaliates With Counter-Complaint

In response, the Pakistan Cricket Board filed a complaint against India’s skipper Suryakumar Yadav.
PCB alleged Surya made political comments supporting Indian forces after the Pahalgam terror attack.
They argued his remarks breached ICC’s code, though the timing of the filing remains unclear.
The ICC requires any such complaint to be submitted within seven days of the incident.

    BCCI, ICC Monitor Rising Tensions

During the September 21 game, Rauf mocked India’s military by gesturing a plane being shot down.
He also abused Indian openers Gill and Abhishek, who responded with runs instead of words.
Meanwhile, Sahibzada Farhan celebrated with a gun-firing gesture, drawing widespread criticism from viewers worldwide.
Farhan later claimed the celebration was spontaneous, insisting he did not care about public reaction.

Adding fuel, ACC chairman Mohsin Naqvi posted a Ronaldo video implying a crashing plane on social media.
The cryptic gesture mirrored Rauf’s act, intensifying tensions between the rival cricket boards.
Now, both ICC and BCCI officials are closely monitoring whether action will follow against Naqvi’s provocation.
