    The Economic Survey 2025–26 will be presented in the Lok Sabha on Thursday by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The survey has been prepared by the Economic Division of the Department of Economic Affairs under the guidance of the Chief Economic Adviser and outlines the current state of the Indian economy, key economic indicators for the 2025–26 financial year, and projections for the upcoming fiscal period.

    During the session, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol is also scheduled to table documents related to the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA). A review report on the functioning of AERA for the year 2024–25 will also be placed before the House.

    Another major agenda item includes the formal presentation of eight Bills that were passed by both Houses during the Sixth Session of the 18th Lok Sabha and have received Presidential assent. These will be laid on the table by the Lok Sabha Secretary General.

    The Budget Session of Parliament began earlier and will continue for 30 sittings over 65 days, concluding on April 2. A recess is scheduled from February 13 to March 9 to allow Standing Committees to examine Demands for Grants.
