Jagdish Patani, Disha Patani’s father, thanked CM Yogi for swift action in Bareilly incident. Patani praised UP Police and government for building a safer, fear-free society under Yogi’s leadership. The incident took place in the early hours of September 12, when unknown assailants fired outside Patani’s home. Shortly after, a social media account linked to the gang of Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the attack. This triggered a multi-state investigation involving the Delhi Police Special Cell, Haryana Police, and the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF), who launched an intensive manhunt for the suspects.The investigation led authorities to Ghaziabad, where they tracked the movements of the accused using technical surveillance and intelligence inputs. On September 18, the suspects — identified as Ravinder from Rohtak and Arun from Sonepat — were located in Tronica City. When the police attempted to stop their motorcycle and arrest them, the duo opened fire, prompting a gunfight.

More than a dozen rounds were exchanged between the criminals and police teams during the encounter. Four police officers sustained injuries in the process. The two gangsters were critically wounded and taken to a nearby hospital, where they later died during treatment. The encounter was seen as a significant success in the ongoing crackdown on organized crime in the region.Jagdish Patani lauded the police and CM Yogi for their dedication, calling the action a strong message against crime. He said the operation had not only brought relief to his family but also restored public trust in the state’s law enforcement. According to Patani, the quick and effective response reflects the UP government’s commitment to building a society free from fear and lawlessness.
