Indian Bank has started the application process for 350 Specialist Officer (SO) posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, indianbank.bank.in. The registration process began on April 8, 2026, and will close on April 28, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications and age limit as mentioned in the detailed notification available on the official website. Applicants should carefully review the notification before submitting the form.
Selection Process
Indian Bank will shortlist applications and conduct either a written/online test followed by an interview, or only an interview, depending on the number of applications received.
The written test will include 120 questions carrying a total of 180 marks. Candidates will get 2 hours to complete the exam. The bank will deduct one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question for every incorrect answer. However, it will not impose any penalty for unanswered questions.
The interview will carry 100 marks. Candidates from the unreserved and EWS categories must secure at least 40 percent marks in the test and/or interview to qualify. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and PWBD categories must obtain a minimum of 35 percent marks.

Application Fee
SC, ST, and PWBD candidates need to pay ₹175 as the application fee, while all other candidates must pay ₹1000. Applicants can make the payment online using debit card, credit card, internet banking, or UPI. Candidates will bear any additional transaction charges.
