Police said 23-year-old Ayushi Sharma allegedly planned her mother Neeraj Sharma’s murder in Jaipur. Investigators claimed she wanted the family property and her father’s government job. Police alleged Ayushi involved relatives and hired attackers to execute the murder plan. The accused allegedly paid contract killers Rs 7 lakh for the operation. Neeraj Sharma, aged 45, worked as a lower division clerk in court. The attackers allegedly used a Scorpio SUV to make the incident appear accidental. Police said the incident occurred on July 3 in Pratap Nagar, Jaipur. Investigators claimed the murder followed a long-running dispute between mother and daughter. Authorities began investigating after Neeraj’s brother reported suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

Police arrested seven accused people during the investigation into Neeraj Sharma’s alleged murder case. The arrested suspects included Ayushi, her uncle Mohan Swaroop, and other conspirators. Police also arrested Mohit Sharma, Akash Sharma, Arvind Sharma, Hemant Sharma, and Rohit Jatav. Investigators identified Ayushi’s cousin Balram alias Ravi as a key conspirator. Police said Balram remained absconding while officers continued searching for him. According to investigators, Neeraj was returning home after dropping her son. A Scorpio allegedly hit her at high speed near Pratap Nagar. Police claimed the vehicle travelled around 130 kilometres per hour before impact. The collision allegedly threw Neeraj nearly 100 feet away instantly. The driver reportedly escaped after abandoning the vehicle following the incident.

Police examined CCTV footage and gathered evidence after initially treating the case differently. Investigators later claimed the collision was actually a planned murder conspiracy. DCP East Ranjita Sharma shared details about the investigation progress publicly. Police discovered involvement from several family members and hired attackers. Officials said Neeraj’s husband died approximately one year before the incident. After his death, Neeraj received a compassionate government appointment. She joined court service as a lower division clerk following approval. Police alleged Ayushi wanted the same government position after her father’s death. However, Neeraj accepted the appointment and continued working in the department. Investigators also found an ongoing property dispute between both family members.

Police alleged Ayushi coordinated the murder plan with her uncle and cousin. Investigators claimed the group hired Hemant Sharma from Bharatpur for execution. Police stated the attackers received Rs 7 lakh for killing Neeraj. Authorities said the accused first monitored Neeraj using a rented Thar SUV. That attempt failed, forcing them to continue planning the attack. Investigators claimed they tracked Neeraj’s movements for nearly one month. On the murder day, accused members allegedly followed her movements closely. Police said Mohit Sharma shared Neeraj’s location with other accused persons. Rohit Jatav allegedly waited nearby on a motorcycle during the attack. Akash Sharma allegedly drove the Scorpio during the fatal collision. Arvind Sharma reportedly accompanied Akash inside the vehicle during execution.

Police said the accused abandoned the Scorpio after completing the alleged attack. They reportedly escaped from the location using a motorcycle afterward. Neeraj’s brother Rakesh Kumar Sharma informed police about the incident. He alleged that Neeraj faced harassment over property disputes earlier. Rakesh also claimed family members had threatened Neeraj previously. Police recorded statements and continued investigating all allegations carefully. During questioning, Ayushi allegedly admitted wanting her father’s government job. Investigators claimed she also wanted control over family property matters. Police alleged these motives led Ayushi to plan her mother’s murder. Authorities continue investigating additional evidence and possible involvement of others. The case remains under investigation as police pursue the absconding accused.
