The Dharmendra Pradhan resignation remained the key issue during talks between the Centre and the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). The party said only his resignation would satisfy students protesting over the NEET paper leak.
The Centre told the CJP delegation that changing or removing a minister was the Prime Minister’s decision. Even so, the CJP refused to accept a portfolio change. Party leaders repeated that Dharmendra Pradhan resignation was their only demand. The negotiations ended without an agreement.
