    After the announcement of Baahubali The Epic, a combined version of both Baahubali films, rumours resurfaced that Hrithik Roshan was once considered for the lead role. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda from Arka Media Works clarified the speculation while talking to Gulte.

    After announcing Baahubali The Epic, the makers faced rumours that Hrithik Roshan was first approached for the lead role. Producer Shobu Yarlagadda dismissed this, saying they chose Prabhas from the start. He also confirmed the film is about 3 hours 40 minutes long and ruled out any Baahubali 3 announcement. The team trimmed some songs and scenes but kept all major moments.

    Baahubali The Epic to Hit Theatres on October 31

    Producer Shobu Yarlagadda from Arka Media Works addressed the ongoing rumours surrounding Baahubali The Epic during a conversation with Gulte. He dismissed the claims suggesting that Hrithik Roshan was initially approached for the lead role, stating clearly that Prabhas was their first and only choice from the very beginning. Shobu emphasized that there was never any discussion with Hrithik regarding the role, despite online chatter. He also spoke about the reedited version of the film, confirming that Baahubali The Epic will run for about 3 hours and 40 minutes, not over five hours as speculated. Additionally, he clarified that there is no announcement related to Baahubali 3 in the film. According to him, while the team has trimmed a few songs and minor scenes, all the major moments featuring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati remain untouched to preserve the core impact of the story.
