    Tragic Crash: Bangladesh Air Force Jet Strikes Dhaka School, One Dead

    A Bangladesh Air Force training jet crashed into a school building in Dhaka on Monday, killing at least one person, according to military and fire officials. The aircraft burst into flames upon impact, sending thick black smoke billowing into the sky. Witnesses reported seeing the smoke from a considerable distance. Authorities immediately dispatched at least eight fire service units to the scene to contain the blaze and prevent further damage.

    Children were inside Milestone School and College when the crash occurred, raising concerns about student safety. However, officials have not confirmed any student casualties. Videos captured in the aftermath showed a large fire near a lawn and a dense column of smoke rising, while onlookers gathered at a distance. Emergency responders worked quickly to secure the area and manage the crowd. The military has not yet disclosed the cause of the crash, and an investigation is expected to follow.

    Air Force Confirms One Dead, Four Injured in Dhaka School Crash

    A Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training jet crashed into Milestone School and College in Diabari, Dhaka, on Monday, killing one person and injuring four others, according to an official statement from the Bangladesh Army. The jet belonged to the Air Force and went down during a training flight. Fire Service duty officer Lima Khanam confirmed the crash and stated that fire crews recovered one body from the site. She added that the Air Force rescued four injured individuals and took them for treatment.

    Fire officials responded quickly, but Lima Khanam did not provide additional details on the victims. The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed. Authorities are still investigating the incident, and more information is expected soon. The crash follows another recent aviation tragedy—just over a month ago, an Air India flight crashed into a medical college hostel in Ahmedabad, killing 260 people, including 19 on the ground.
