CM Mohan Yadav highlighted the legacy of Swami Vivekananda, National Youth Day on January 12, schools across the state will organise a mass Surya Namaskar, continuing the annual tradition. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will participate in the state-level programme at Subhash Excellence School in Bhopal, while School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh will perform Surya Namaskar and yoga with students at Rukmani Devi Public School in Narsinghpur.
On Youth Day, All India Radio will broadcast a special programme from 9:30 am to 10:15 am in all educational institutions across the state. The broadcast will include the national song Vande Mataram, a recorded message of Swami Vivekananda, and an address by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Following the broadcast, students will perform mass Surya Namaskar and Pranayama as per the instructions aired simultaneously from all All India Radio centres in the state.

According to guidelines issued by the School Education Department, all educational institutions will conduct the mass Surya Namaskar simultaneously on a single signal. Students from Classes 6 to 12 will take part voluntarily, while primary school students will not perform Surya Namaskar and will attend the programme as spectators.
