Ever since differences surfaced between Raghav Chadha and other leaders of Aam Aadmi Party, political observers have kept a close watch on his next move.
Adding to the speculation, Chadha shared an Instagram reel on his story and called it an “interesting thought.”
The reel was posted by a creator named Rihan, who uses the username ‘seedhathok’. In the video, he suggested that Chadha should launch his own political party.
He argued that such a move could help Chadha win wider public support. Addressing him directly, the creator said many people now want Chadha to start a new party.
He also suggested that the party could target younger voters. According to him, Chadha could even name it the “Gen-Z Party” or choose any other title he prefers.
The creator further said Chadha could lose his current support if he joins another political party. He added that such a move might also invite criticism.
He therefore argued that launching his own political outfit would be a better option. According to him, a new party could help Chadha gain strong youth backing and a clear political advantage.
However, Chadha has not made any formal announcement about his future plans so far.
Raghav Chadha Sparks Rift Buzz With AAP
More than a week ago, Aam Aadmi Party removed Raghav Chadha from the post of deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha and appointed Ashok Kumar Mittal as his replacement in the Upper House. Around the same time, the party also stopped Chadha from speaking in Parliament under its allotted quota, even as he was drawing attention on social media for raising what many described as middle-class concerns.
The party reportedly accused Chadha of adopting a softer stance towards the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and of spending the party’s parliamentary time on issues such as the price of samosas at airports. His remarks later triggered a wave of memes across social media platforms.

Raghav Chadha faces mounting questions from AAP leaders as tensions within the party deepen.
One of the main flashpoints in the growing fallout between Aam Aadmi Party and Raghav Chadha reportedly involved the impeachment motion moved by Opposition parties against Gyanesh Kumar.
AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj claimed that Chadha refused to sign the motion. Senior party leader Atishi also publicly questioned him.
She accused Chadha of avoiding a direct confrontation with the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She also said he stayed silent on issues such as alleged attacks on democracy, voter deletions and disputed electoral rolls.
Bhardwaj and Atishi also questioned Chadha’s absence during Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest by the Enforcement Directorate. At that time, party leaders and workers had taken to the streets in protest.
In response, Chadha said the party was trying to “silence” him. He said he raises public issues whenever he gets a chance to speak in Parliament. He also asked whether doing so should be seen as a mistake.
On Monday, Chadha added to the speculation with a social media post. He shared a photo of himself reading a book and said someone had gifted it to him that week.
He also highlighted the opening chapter, titled “Never Outshine the Master.” The post further fuelled speculation over his message and political future.
