In a post on X, he announced that India is hosting the AI Impact Summit starting today at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. He also welcomed world leaders, industry heads, innovators, policymakers, researchers, and technology enthusiasts.

    Tech leaders Sundar Pichai and Sam Altman are expected to attend. Representatives from about 20 countries, including Brazil and France, will also join delegates from nearly 100 nations this week.

    India is hosting the event from February 16 to 20 at the Bharat Mandapam complex in Delhi. The venue hosted the G-20 Summit in 2023. The gathering marks the fourth AI Summit, after earlier editions in the U.K., South Korea, and France. Officials said the summit is a milestone. A Global South nation is hosting this global forum on AI’s impact and challenges for the first time.

    The event begins on Monday (February 16, 2026), with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the “India AI Impact Expo 2026.” The expo features pavilions from 13 countries.

    India is hosting the programme from February 16 to 20 at the Bharat Mandapam complex in Delhi. The venue first hosted the G-20 Summit in 2023. The gathering marks the fourth AI Summit, after earlier editions in the U.K., South Korea, and France.
