He said all eligible families would receive jobs within 20 months, calling it a major step to tackle unemployment and uplift the poor.
Tejashwi emphasized that this will be a legal guarantee, not just an election promise. He said the initiative aims to bring economic dignity and equal opportunity to every household in Bihar.

Tejashwi Yadav said he created thousands of jobs in his 17 months as Bihar’s deputy chief minister, including five lakh jobs, and promised more if elected. He accused the NDA government of ignoring unemployment for 20 years and vowed to pass a new job law within 20 days of taking office, with full implementation in 20 months. He also alleged that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s government copied his promises while ignoring the unemployment crisis.
