    UPSC NDA

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is set to release the admit cards for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I) 2026 shortly. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be able to download their admit cards from the official website, upsc.gov.in, once the commission activates the link.

UPSC will conduct the NDA and NA I examination on April 12, 2026. Following previous trends, the commission released the 2025 admit cards on April 3, while it conducted the exam on April 13 last year.

In its official notice, UPSC clearly stated that candidates must carry a printed copy of their e-Admit Card to the allotted examination centre. Invigilators will not allow any candidate to appear for the exam without the admit card. Along with the hall ticket, candidates must also carry the same photo ID card mentioned in the e-Admit Card during each session of the examination.

    — Photograph and Signature
    — Exam Day Instructions

If candidates find any discrepancy, they should immediately contact UPSC to get it corrected.

Candidates must reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time. They should strictly follow the instructions mentioned on the admit card, including the prescribed guidelines, to avoid any issues on exam day.

UPSC NDA, NA I Selection Process

The UPSC conducts the selection process in two stages — a written examination followed by an SSB interview. The written test covers subjects including Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography, and Current Affairs.

The commission prepares the final merit list based on candidates’ performance in both the written exam and the SSB interview.
