The Indian Embassy formally hired Miller’s firm, SHW Partners LLC, in April for $1.8 million annually. The year-long agreement, signed on May 21, assigned him to provide counsel, planning, and diplomatic advocacy.Miller had previously served as an informal liaison, briefing Trump and Congress about India’s counter-terrorism strategies.New Delhi trusts Miller’s political insights, especially his reported ability to anticipate and influence Trump’s decision-making process.Officials expect his efforts to enhance India’s diplomatic position, particularly as tariff-related tensions threaten bilateral trade growth.
