Maharashtra Congress president Harshvardhan Sapkal on Monday attacked the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), urging it to “burn its ten faces of reactionary politics” and warning the organisation against issuing threats to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.

‘Samvidhan Satyagraha March’ Launched
On Dussehra, Harshvardhan Sapkal said the burning of Ravana symbolizes the destruction of evil tendencies. He argued that the “ten faces of the Sangh” represent reactionary forces spread across the country and urged that they must be condemned and burnt.Sapkal made these remarks at the launch of the Samvidhan Satyagraha March from Nagpur’s Deekshabhoomi to Sewagram in Wardha. The march, led by Tushar Gandhi and organized by Hum Bharat Ke Log, began at 6 am and aims to unite people in defending the Constitution while exposing those seeking to undermine it.Sapkal alleged that the ideology threatening Rahul Gandhi “was born out of the RSS” and linked it to the mindset of those who killed Mahatma Gandhi. He warned the RSS directly: “If you touch a single hair of Rahul Gandhi, beware — this is our warning.”

Warning to RSS on Rahul Gandhi
Prominent leaders from the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance actively participated in the rally. Congress leaders Naseem Khan, Sunil Kedar, Anees Ahmed, Rajendra Mulak, Prafulla Gudadhe, and chief spokesperson Atul Londhe walked alongside NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) leader Anil Deshmukh, MPs Namdeo Kirsan and Shyamkumar Barve, MLC Abhijit Wanjarri, and Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sushma Andhare. City Congress chief and MLA Vikas Thakre, senior vice president Nana Gawande, Kishor Kanhere, Nagpur district Congress president Ashwin Bais, along with several office bearers and workers, also joined the march.
