The first Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy between India and England continues to thrill fans after four days of intense cricket, with the match still evenly poised. In the second innings, India faced early trouble when opener Jaiswal was dismissed for just four runs. However, KL Rahul stabilized the innings with a gritty knock of 137 runs off 247 balls. With this achievement, Root joins an elite list that includes Mahela Jayawardene (205), Steven Smith (200), and Jacques Kallis (200). His consistency in the field further cements his legacy as one of the game’s modern greats.

As England prepares to chase 371 runs on the final day, the match remains wide open. A thrilling finish is on the cards, with both teams eyeing a memorable win in the opening Test of the series.
