Post Malone will headline the opening ceremony of the 2025 Esports World Cup, the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) has officially confirmed. The globally recognized rapper and country music star will take the stage in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on July 10th, marking a high-energy start to one of the world’s most anticipated esports tournaments.
The EWCF announced on LinkedIn that Post Malone’s performance will symbolize the merging of gaming, music, and culture. The foundation emphasized that his presence at the event reflects the growing influence of esports as mainstream digital entertainment. “With Post Malone, a global artist and true gamer, opening the tournament, we continue to celebrate the power of music a universal language that brings fans together and defines the cultural future of esports,” said Mike McCabe, Chief Operating Officer of the EWCF.

Post Malone has maintained a strong presence in the esports scene. In August 2020, he joined Envy Gaming’s ownership group, taking an undisclosed stake in the organization.
