Global Tech Titans Gather as PM Modi Leads India’s Big AI Summit

India is preparing to host the Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, bringing together global leaders, policymakers, and technology experts to discuss the future of responsible and inclusive AI. The summit will begin on Monday and aims to encourage international cooperation while shaping strategies for resilient and people-centric artificial intelligence development.

On the first day, organisers will conduct a leadership session focused on using AI to reshape education and the workplace. Speakers will examine how artificial intelligence is influencing global employment patterns, transforming skill requirements, and creating new opportunities for innovation and learning. Another key session will analyse the role of AI in modernising India’s judicial system. Experts will discuss how digital intelligence can improve court efficiency, enhance transparency, speed up case handling, and expand public access to justice through smarter systems and automation.

India will also run the India AI Impact Expo 2026 alongside the summit to showcase practical applications of AI across sectors. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will formally inaugurate the expo on February 16, 2026, at 5 pm at Bharat Mandapam. The exhibition will highlight India’s technological progress and demonstrate how artificial intelligence solutions already support governance, industry, sustainability, and social development.

AI focus on road safety as Modi welcomes global tech leaders

Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed global technology leaders to India and described the AI Impact Summit as a reflection of the nation’s growing scientific strength and the potential of its youth.

Starting February 16, the summit’s opening day focuses on using artificial intelligence to improve road safety. Experts will discuss data-driven ways to analyse crash patterns, predict risks, enhance driver training, and develop scalable solutions that promote safer mobility and benefit the public.
