Police reported kidnappers lured a teenage boy toward their car during a Shobha Yatra celebration event local. He attended festivities marking Hanuman Jayanti on April second when suspects executed their planned abduction carefully there. The accused convinced him to approach their vehicle before quickly forcing him inside without raising suspicion nearby. They immediately drove the vehicle away from the crowded procession toward a secluded area outside the city limits. Officials stated the movement happened swiftly, preventing bystanders from noticing the crime unfolding during the religious gathering. Investigators later confirmed the incident formed part of a premeditated plan targeting the boy during public celebrations.
Police said kidnappers attempted to render the boy unconscious by administering a toxic substance believed to be rat poison. Despite consuming the substance, the victim remained conscious, which frustrated the abductors and disrupted their initial kidnapping strategy significantly. The suspects then escalated their actions and physically assaulted the boy in an effort to force unconsciousness quickly.
Authorities revealed the attackers resorted to strangulation when earlier attempts failed to subdue the victim effectively during captivity. This violent escalation directly endangered the child’s life and demonstrated the kidnappers’ desperation to control the situation completely. Officials emphasized that the sequence of actions ultimately led to fatal consequences during the unlawful confinement.

Kidnappers’ Actions and Arrest
The boy died due to injuries sustained during the assault, according to statements provided by investigating police officers. Authorities arrested three men who allegedly participated in the crime and coordinated the sequence of events together. Officers confirmed that all suspects played specific roles in executing the abduction and handling its aftermath operations. The arrests followed detailed inquiry and evidence collection that strengthened the case against the accused individuals involved.
During interrogation, police learned the kidnappers planned to demand a ransom ranging between forty and fifty lakh rupees. They targeted the boy because his father worked as a vegetable wholesaler and maintained regular financial transactions locally. Investigators found the accused already knew the family through previous business dealings involving vegetable purchases over time. Police stated the group began planning the kidnapping at least twenty days before carrying out the procedure. Authorities used CCTV footage and call data records extensively to trace movements and identify the suspects involved. Officials concluded the accused intended to repay debts using ransom money, which motivated their criminal actions entirely.
