The viral AI-generated video shows Donald Trump trying to drive a miniature Tesla Cybertruck-inspired vehicle through a narrow passage designed to represent the Strait of Hormuz. The vehicle gets stuck almost immediately, forcing Trump to awkwardly reverse and move forward repeatedly without success. The humorous clip uses satire to portray difficulties surrounding the strategic waterway amid ongoing tensions in West Asia.

The parody takes inspiration from a famous comedy scene in the movie Austin Powers International Man of Mystery. In the original scene, Austin Powers struggles to move a small cart through a tight hallway while repeatedly crashing into the walls. The embassy posted the video with the caption “Trump’s attempt to pass through the Strait of Hormuz” along with a teasing emoji. The use of a Tesla-style vehicle also appeared to reference billionaire Elon Musk and the futuristic Cybertruck design. Social media users quickly shared the clip, helping it cross more than eight lakh views within hours of being posted online.
