Sunrisers Hyderabad’s IPL 2026 campaign ended after a loss to Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator at Mullanpur on May 27. RR claimed a convincing 47-run victory and knocked SRH out of the tournament.
SRH still had several positives this season. Heinrich Klaasen and Ishan Kishan delivered consistent performances with the bat and scored heavily for the franchise throughout the campaign.
The duo achieved a major milestone during IPL 2026. Klaasen and Kishan became only the seventh pair in IPL history to score 600-plus runs each for the same team in a single edition. Their names now feature alongside several legendary batting combinations.

Heinrich Klaasen and Ishan Kishan Reach Historic Milestone in IPL 2026
Rajasthan Royals dominated with the bat in the Eliminator. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed 93 runs off just 29 balls, while Dhruv Jurel added a quick half-century. Their efforts helped RR post a huge total of 243 runs.
RR’s bowlers then completed the job in style. Jofra Archer picked up three wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja, Sushant Mishra, and Nandre Burger took two wickets each. Yash Raj Punja claimed one wicket as SRH managed only 196 runs in the chase.
