Yoga guru Ramdev has urged the Narendra Modi government to address alleged irregularities in education and recruitment examinations. He warned that student protests could grow if authorities fail to resolve these issues soon. Ramdev said he could join the protests again if the government does not take corrective action. However, he asked young protesters to avoid violence and lawlessness. He stressed that every protest should remain within constitutional and democratic limits.

Ramdev Raises Concerns Over Education and Recruitment

Speaking at Patanjali Yogpeeth on Independence Day, Ramdev highlighted several problems faced by students. He claimed many schools and colleges still lack basic facilities such as teachers, electricity, water and toilets. He also alleged that cheating and question paper leaks continue to affect some examinations. According to him, corruption and money power can influence government recruitment processes. He said such practices undermine fairness and go against constitutional values.

Ramdev also criticised alleged corruption in government job selections and claimed that caste and religion sometimes influence recruitment. He questioned how the country could function if widespread corruption continued unchecked. He called on the government to correct these issues before public anger grows further. Ramdev warned that students could intensify their agitation if authorities fail to respond. He said he would consider joining another protest if the situation remains unresolved.

Calls for Unity and Constitutional Protests

Ramdev referred to his 2011 anti-corruption protest at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan while issuing his latest warning. He said he does not support violence, anarchy or lawlessness in the name of protests. He also criticised growing hostility between people based on caste, religion and political differences. Ramdev urged Indians from different communities to reject hatred and work toward greater unity. He said the country must overcome divisions instead of allowing them to deepen.

Ramdev called on young people to follow the Constitution while raising their concerns and demanding their rights. He said Gen Z should not resort to violence or create disorder on the streets. At the same time, he stressed that citizens should continue to question authorities and fulfil their responsibilities. He described independence as having strong systems for education, healthcare and the economy. He also urged people to prioritise national unity and respect rather than fight among themselves.
