The United States intensified the Iran conflict after President Donald Trump announced the destruction of a major bridge in Karaj. He shared visuals showing thick smoke rising from the site. Officials confirmed that the bridge stood as the tallest structure of its kind in the region. The strike has increased tensions significantly across West Asia.

Local authorities in Alborz Province reported casualties following the attack. Officials stated that at least eight people lost their lives, while many others sustained injuries. Emergency teams rushed to the scene to provide immediate assistance. However, a second strike reportedly targeted the same area during rescue operations.

Iran strongly condemned the attack and criticized the targeting of civilian infrastructure. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that such actions would not force Iran to surrender. He added that the strikes reflect strategic failure rather than strength. Iranian media also highlighted the humanitarian impact of the incident.

The damaged bridge was still under construction and held strategic importance. Reports suggested that the structure featured a massive column height, making it a landmark project. The attack disrupted ongoing development and raised concerns over infrastructure safety. It also triggered widespread reactions within Iran.

President Trump warned that further action could follow if Iran does not agree to negotiations. He emphasized the need for a deal to end the ongoing conflict. The US administration believes the war is nearing its final phase. However, continued threats indicate that the Iran conflict remains far from over.
