Mahesh Babu faces betrayal in Rajamouli’s leaked film plot as Varanasi nears its release. With exactly one year to go, the film has already started generating strong buzz.

The makers have kept the plot and major details under wraps since they unveiled the first glimpse last year. However, a synopsis reportedly prepared by a VFX firm working on the project has now surfaced online. It offers a look at some important plot developments.
Mahesh Babu’s Varanasi plot details surface online
Although the first glimpse released last year had already hinted at parts of the story, the newly surfaced synopsis appears to reveal a few fresh details. It suggests that Mahesh Babu’s character, Rudhra, begins the time-travelling quest at the request of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s character, Kumbha, before discovering his hidden agenda.
The synopsis also identifies Kumbha as the film’s antagonist and suggests that he wants to gain control over the world by obtaining a powerful artefact from the Ramayana era. However, the exact identity of the artefact remains under wraps.

Mahesh Babu’s film gains attention after Cinesite website update
Cinesite describes itself as “a leading entertainment service studio” that creates audience experiences through visual effects, animation, and immersive content.
Founded in 1991, the company has become one of Hollywood’s leading visual effects and animation studios. Over the years, it has worked on several major films and series, including The Witcher, Aquaman, Thor: Love and Thunder, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Its website also shows that Cinesite is working on several upcoming high-profile projects, including Masters of the Universe and Spider-Noir.
SS Rajamouli directs Varanasi, while Vijayendra Prasad has written the film. It marks Rajamouli’s first project since the global success of RRR.
