The viral image was originally part of an Instagram post uploaded by Sanjeev Shrivastav on Tuesday. The caption described the meeting as a cordial interaction between the Bihar chief minister and the construction company director. However, after the portrait became a topic of online trolling, the specific image showing the artwork was reportedly removed from the post.
Many users on X shared screenshots of the portrait and continued discussing it online. Some joked that the artwork looked more like a caricature than an official portrait. Others commented that the incident reflected the chief minister’s calm and tolerant personality, as he accepted the gift without showing discomfort.
The online discussion grew further after users began circulating other social media videos and posts related to the builder. One viral reel showed Shrivastav entering a room while smoking, surrounded by people believed to be his staff members. The clips added more attention to the already trending topic.
Samrat Choudhary recently became the 24th Chief Minister of Bihar and the first Bharatiya Janata Party leader to hold the post in the state. He took oath last month at Lok Bhawan in Patna in the presence of several senior political leaders, including JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar, Union minister JP Nadda, and LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan.
