SpaceX has set its initial public offering (IPO) price at $135 per share. The company announced the price a week before the offering, a move that breaks traditional Wall Street pricing practices and highlights Elon Musk’s unique approach to fundraising.
SpaceX aims to raise $75 billion through the IPO. At the proposed price, the company could achieve a valuation of approximately $1.75 trillion. This would place SpaceX among the most valuable publicly listed companies in the United States.

SpaceX plans to raise $75 billion in what could become the largest IPO in history.
The company is expected to begin its investor roadshow this week, with final pricing scheduled for June 11. Trading of SpaceX shares is expected to start on the Nasdaq shortly after the pricing process is completed.
Elon Musk has also introduced several changes to the traditional IPO model. Reports suggest the company plans to give retail investors a larger role and maintain strong founder control through its governance structure.
Despite strong investor interest, some analysts have raised concerns about SpaceX’s high valuation. The company reported a net loss of $4.94 billion in 2025, although revenue increased 33 percent to $18.67 billion during the same period.
