A Class 12 student from Jharkhand triggered nationwide debate after publishing findings on CBSE tender procedures recently. Sarthak Sidhant examined procurement records and highlighted alleged changes affecting the On-Screen Marking system process. His investigation gained significant attention after prominent political leaders referenced the blog in public statements. The controversy expanded rapidly across social media platforms, drawing reactions from activists, educators, and citizens. CBSE responded by defending its procurement procedures and rejecting allegations of favoritism during vendor selection. The dispute has since become a major issue in discussions surrounding examination reforms nationwide.

Sidhant stated he reviewed multiple tender documents available through the Central Public Procurement portal carefully. His blog alleged eligibility requirements changed repeatedly across bidding rounds before the final contract award. According to his analysis, several modifications appeared to align closely with the winning firm’s profile. He argued previous restrictions involving performance concerns and blacklist history were altered significantly later. The student also questioned turnover requirements and revised technical conditions introduced during subsequent rounds. CBSE and the selected company strongly denied wrongdoing and rejected allegations presented within the blog.
