The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has invited applications for a one-month residential programme in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT). The programme will run in July 2026 at the IIT Mandi campus under PRAYAS 4.0, an initiative of the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE).
What is PRAYAS 4.0?
PRAYAS, short for “Promoting and Accelerating Young and Aspiring Students,” aims to nurture future-ready talent across disciplines. IIT Mandi designed the programme to make advanced technologies accessible to learners from diverse academic backgrounds.
The institute does not require prior technical experience, allowing students from various streams to apply.
Programme Structure and Learning Approach
IIT Mandi faculty members will conduct 5–6 hours of daily sessions during the residential programme. The curriculum combines theoretical lectures with hands-on laboratory work.
Participants will study embedded systems, fundamentals of artificial intelligence, sensor technologies and intelligent automation. The institute will also provide access to state-of-the-art laboratories and innovation facilities to ensure practical exposure.
Over four weeks, students will move from foundational concepts to advanced applications in AI, robotics and IoT.
