Heavy rain and thunderstorms lashed Noida on Tuesday, flooding multiple areas and disrupting traffic across key stretches. Clogged roads and slow-moving vehicles delayed several commuters during peak hours. The India Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for Delhi and forecast light rain and thunderstorms in the coming hours, although the city has not recorded any significant rainfall so far. Officials have advised residents to remain cautious, warning that changing weather conditions could cause further disruptions.
Meanwhile, continuous spells of rain throughout the day inundated several low-lying areas in Noida. Poor drainage systems affected many key roads, triggering waterlogging and worsening traffic congestion. Flooded stretches slowed vehicle movement, intensifying peak-hour chaos and causing major delays for commuters.
