IRCTC Launches Sapta Jyotirlinga Yatra: Check Ticket Prices, Itinerary and How to Book

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched the Sapta Jyotirlinga Darshan Yatra for devotees planning a spiritual journey during the holy month of Sawan. The 10-night, 11-day pilgrimage will depart from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station on September 25 aboard the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. During the journey, pilgrims will visit seven Jyotirlingas across Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra before returning to Delhi on October 5. IRCTC has designed the package to provide a hassle-free travel experience with accommodation, meals, sightseeing, and transportation included.

The pilgrimage will start in Ujjain, where passengers will visit Mahakaleshwar Temple, Mahakal Lok Corridor, and attend the evening aarti at Ram Ghat. The journey will then continue to Omkareshwar, followed by visits to Dwarka, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Rukmini Devi Temple, and Beyt Dwarka. Pilgrims will also explore Somnath Temple, Somnath Beach, and Bhalka Tirth. Later, the train will travel to Pune for Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar for Grishneshwar Temple and the Ellora Caves, before concluding at Trimbakeshwar Temple and Panchvati in Nashik.

IRCTC has made the booking process simple through its official tourism portal. Interested travellers can search for the Sapta Jyotirlinga Yatra under the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train section, review the itinerary and pricing, and click on Book Now. Passengers need to log in, fill in their travel details, and complete the online payment to confirm their seats. The tour offers a total capacity of 150 passengers across AC First Class, AC Two-Tier, and AC Three-Tier categories.

Package Includes Meals, Stay, Sightseeing and Travel Insurance

The package includes train travel, three nights of hotel accommodation in Ujjain, Dwarka, and Pune, along with a wash-and-change facility in Nashik. The remaining nights will be spent onboard the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. IRCTC will provide vegetarian breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea throughout the journey. The package also covers air-conditioned bus transfers for sightseeing, entry tickets, local guides, travel insurance, security, and dedicated tour managers to ensure a comfortable pilgrimage.

IRCTC has priced the Economy (Sleeper) package at Rs 22,750 per adult, while Standard (3AC) tickets cost Rs 38,500 and Comfort (2AC) tickets cost Rs 50,700 per person. Child fares vary according to the selected class. However, passengers must pay separately for room service, bottled water, laundry, special darshan tickets, additional sightseeing, and personal expenses. The comprehensive package offers devotees a convenient and affordable way to visit all seven sacred Jyotirlingas in a single journey.
