A Telangana man has approached police and alleged that his wife and her suspected lover planned his murder. Gade Rajeswara Rao, a resident of Mahabubabad district, claimed that the pair wanted to kill him and make his death look like a road accident. Rao submitted purported WhatsApp and Instagram conversations to police as evidence supporting his allegations. Police initially registered a zero FIR and later transferred the case to Khammam Rural Police because the alleged incidents reportedly fall within their jurisdiction. Rao told police that he married Bhavani in 2016 and that they have two daughters. He alleged that Bhavani developed a relationship with Saidulu, a courier delivery agent from Khammam. Rao further claimed that Saidulu frequently visited their house when he remained away. The allegations emerged after Rao noticed suspicious activities involving his wife.

According to Rao’s complaint, he became suspicious on July 27 and later checked his wife’s phone. He allegedly discovered conversations between Bhavani and Saidulu discussing ways to remove him from their lives. Rao claimed that the messages suggested they had considered killing him while avoiding suspicion from authorities. He alleged that Bhavani specifically opposed killing him inside their home because investigators could notice suspicious circumstances afterward. Instead, she allegedly suggested staging his death as a road accident. Rao also claimed that another conversation contained a threat from Bhavani, who allegedly said she would kill him herself if Saidulu refused. He submitted screenshots and other digital material to police during the complaint. Rao told authorities that the alleged conversations made him fear for his life. He also expressed concern about the safety of his daughters.
Khammam Rural Police have started investigating the allegations and examining the digital evidence submitted by Rao. Inspector M Raju said authorities registered the case based on the complaint and are verifying the evidence. Police are checking the authenticity and context of the purported WhatsApp and Instagram conversations. Investigators will also examine the alleged relationship between Bhavani and Saidulu and determine whether their conversations indicated any genuine intention to harm Rao. Authorities will investigate whether either person took any steps toward carrying out the alleged plan.
